Excellent location across from the harbor. Room was extremely large, perhaps 600 square feet, with three beds (one large one and two very small ones). We reserved a ground-floor room with no view (lower cost). Staff was very helpful; we arrived early to park for a nearby ferry ride to an island (no intention of checking in at that time, just park) and we're unexpectedly able to get in the room early because it was ready (off season, slow time). Staff also provided money change when we needed it (for deserved tips). Third-floor guest lounge is a real plus, with a balcony overlooking the shoreline. Complimentary breakfast delivered to your door after you phone in order (system works well). Written information on your stay provided by the inn was helpful and concise.

Where do I start! Firstly, the Inn is beautiful and very well kept. It is an absolute credit to the owners and staff! On arrival, you are greeted by the wonderful and friendly staff. They are there to help, trust me, I asked lots of questions and needed a few extras. They were very accommodating. Our room was wonderful and very spacious with a magnificent view of the harbor. We were on the second floor. There is an elevator, which makes carrying baggage much easier. Going up to the third floor, there are more rooms as well as guest lounge and a viewing deck! We took some brilliant photos from there. If you are ever in Beaufort, NC, I highly recommend the Inlet Inn. You won't be disappointed!

The Breakfast was yummy!!!!! Service was very fast to our room, staff soooo friendly. The views from the room were amazing, everything including such comfortable beds to the quaint design was exceptional. The one highlight of our trip was, the experience out on Shackleford Banks, seeing the wild horses and amazing sea shells. Seeing these amazing horses in their natural surroundings was a gift and memory, I will treasure. Barbara & Jay are wonderful owners & hosts of this Inn, and it is obvious by their attention to every detail. Thank you both!!!!!!!!

We did not have time to try the breakfast. Love Beaufort so location was awesome. The room was gorgeous. Made me wish we were staying for a couple more days. Signage for parking is not there. If you've never been before, it's hard to find the parking entrance from the side street. Directions online takes you to Front St. for parking. Definitely be back!

The location was excellent - very convenient to historic district, shopping, restaurants and port. Parking was adequate; being on first floor was very convenient although some street noise was noticed in the morning. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was basic but delivery to room was quick and easy to arrange. Overall, a very good stay.

Perfect location to enjoy all that Beaufort has to offer. Beautiful Inn!!! Exceeded expectations. In room coffee service (coffee maker w/coffee pods, mugs, sweetener & cream in refrigerator (thank you!) Nicely scented soaps & lotions...and a dehumidifier. The room was large with a huge balcony with rocking chairs and a couch to relax inside. Outdoor walkways were well lit at night. Snacks & drinks available to purchase in hotel lobby as well as some merchandise and beautiful artwork to enjoy. On-site parking was plentiful. Staff was attentive and always available to help. The "widow's walk" balcony was a pleasant surprise--and a great way to meet other guests! Continental breakfast delivered to the room was fabulous. Can't wait to come back! Would highly recommend!

Breakfast was included beginning at 730a, but we had to checkout by 6a so we were not able to take advantage of it. However, the location was perfect; within easy walking distance to the ferry, nautical museum, bars, shops, restaurants, and the old burial grounds. The room was spotless, beds comfortable, coffee setup was available, and there was a small refrig. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was wine available for purchase in the office that one could take up to the widiows walk to enjoy the lovely view of downtown Beaufort.

Clean, spacious room. Loved the window seat overlooking Front St. and the water. Enjoyed the galley lounge area with the deck on the 3rd floor. Location was fantastic. Close to shops, restaurants and ferry. Continental Breakfast brought to the room was a nice touch.

Location along the waterfront was beautiful. Our room on the third floor with the vaulted ceiling and nook by the windows for reading or resting was quite beautiful. Lovely decorations.

All of it! The freshly baked pastries brought to the room each morning were a delicious treat! Loved the convenient location on the harbor, the beautifully decorated spacious room, the quiet surroundings and the ambience of being in the historical district! Our stay was not long enough!!
